ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking enthusiastic Service Desk Technicians to assist the ICT Department's vision for continuous improvement and a passion to provide excellent support to staff, students and parents for existing systems and services.

The Technicians work closely with other members of the Service Desk team to monitor, respond to, and resolve first level service desk tickets, provide excellent service to staff and students at the Service Desk counter, answer phone and email enquiries and keep an up-to-date asset register.

Please note, this is a casual role that will be based at both The King's School campus in North Parramatta and the Tudor House campus in Moss Vale.

To be successful for this role, you will need to have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:


• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills

• Relevant IT degrees/qualifications or have equivalent experience

• Have strong analytical skills

• Previous experience in preparing technical documentation

• Be innovative and solutions-focused

• Have a sense of humour

• Feel comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team

• Excellent phone manner and etiquette and be able to handle difficult conversations

• Good understanding of Microsoft and Apple technologies, including server, client, print and applications

In addition to the above, the following experience and knowledge would be an advantage:


• Experience working in the education sector

• Knowledge of software deployment platforms for both PC and Mac

• Experience resolving issues related to device peripherals
