Cahill Transport has proudly delivered reliable, customer-focused logistics across Australia for over 74 years. As we continue to grow in SA, we're seeking a motivated and flexible team member to take on a hybrid full-time role combining local HR driving and warehouse operations in our Direk depot.

The Role

Monday to Friday, you'll split your time across two key areas:

HR Driving (Afternoon Local Deliveries):

  • Complete structured metro delivery runs (8–10 stops/day), primarily Ampol and general freight.
  • Operate tailgate-equipped vehicles and handle rolling cages.
  • Perform pre-start checks, load restraint, and comply with all CoR and safety procedures.

Warehouse Operations (High-Reach Forklift):

  • Safely operate high-reach forklifts for pallet movements and truck loading/unloading.
  • Pick and pack orders using RF scanners.
  • Perform stock rotation, labelling, and manual handling (up to 25kg).
  • Maintain accuracy and cleanliness in the warehouse.

Your weekly roster will follow a predictable afternoon schedule, balancing both functions with opportunities for training, development, and overtime where available.

About You

  • Hold a valid HR licence (HC highly regarded).
  • Hold a valid High-Risk Forklift licence.
  • Comfortable with physical work including manual handling and cage movement.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning and warehouse systems (preferred).
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player.
  • Open to training and flexible shift needs.
