We support farmers, contractors and earthmoving operators across a highly diverse range of machinery — from tractors and implements to harvest equipment, hydraulic systems and earthmoving plant — working across all brands and all ages of equipment.

Our workshop is a tight-knit, supportive team that values professionalism, honesty, initiative and people who simply get the job done. As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and experienced mechanic who can hit the ground running and enjoy the variety our business offers.


About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician with strong experience in agricultural or earthmoving machinery.

This position involves a mix of workshop repairs and on-site field service across a wide range of equipment including tractors, loaders, implements, hay and harvest machinery, and general earthmoving machinery.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Diagnostics, fault-finding and troubleshooting
  • Repairs, maintenance and full services
  • Hydraulic, electrical and mechanical system work
  • Using technical manuals, schematics and diagnostic tools/software
  • Completing job cards and reports through our workshop apps
  • Providing great customer service on farms and work sites

Hours are Monday to Friday, with seasonal extended hours and a rotational weekend on-call roster.

A company vehicle is provided for field service work.


About You

We are looking for someone who is an experienced, reliable, and capable operator. The right person will take pride in their work, solve problems independently, and contribute positively to our team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Trade qualified Heavy Diesel, Agricultural or Automotive Mechanic

Proven experience working on agricultural OR earthmoving machinery

Strong diagnostic ability – mechanical, hydraulic and electrical

Able to read and interpret technical manuals

Confident using workshop software, diagnostic tools and mobile apps

Manual driver's licence (essential)

Highly Regarded

• Field service experience

• Experience with hydraulic systems troubleshooting

• Ability to work independently on farms and job sites

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
