Senior Project Officer – Marketing and Events (0.8 FTE)

Initial 12-month contract, with likely extension

Based in Brisbane

The Behaviour Change Collaborative is a values-based social enterprise that works collaboratively to address health, social and environmental challenges. We partner with academia, government, non-profit organisations and social businesses to influence behaviours and improve lives.

We are looking for someone with a passion for marketing and community event delivery, based in Brisbane. You will have the chance to work on impactful projects, primarily focused on delivery of the Leave It social marketing program, to help protect wildlife (with a focus on koalas) and promote responsible dog ownership. You will also have the chance to support other projects across the organisation.

We are looking for a marketing and events professional with a minimum of five years' experience and the following desired skills:

●      Strong digital marketing and content creation skills

●      Practical experience in the use of WordPress

●      Ability to analyse and interpret analytics, and make recommendations based on the data

●      Experience coordinating and delivering community-based events

●      A keen eye for detail and experience proof reading reports

●      Experience designing high quality marketing materials for print and digital collateral

This role includes work that occurs outside standard hours (evenings and weekends). A C class drivers' license is required, and event delivery will necessitate some travel outside of Brisbane.

We're offering an initial 12-month contract, with potential to extend. This is a part time role, working 4 days per week. We offer a flexible workplace with the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week.
