We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Centre Director to support a team of Educators at a new purpose built centre in Elermore Vale who has:
- A genuine love for working with young children;
- Leadership experience and a passion for leading a team and guiding others to reach their full potential;
- An Early Childhood Teaching Degree or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards);
- Hold a current Child Protection Qualification, First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training) and CPR;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team and engage with families;
- Experience in supervising and supporting Lead Educators with the development and delivery of learning programs that cater to children's interests and developmental needs;
- Ability to create a positive, nurturing environment while leading and motivating a team of educators to provide exceptional care and education.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee the daily operations of the centre and lead a team of passionate educators to create an inclusive, stimulating, and educational environment for children;
- Oversee and approve the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging educational programs across the centre, ensuring they align with the needs and interests of the children;
- Lead by example, supporting and mentoring educators, encouraging them to contribute to program planning, and encouraging a culture of continuous development and improvement;
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, while maintaining high-quality care and education standards;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues;
- Engage in and support regular communication with parents about their child's development;
- Conduct Professional Development Reviews on all staff and build continuous improvement plans;
- Ensure the centre meets or exceeds the National Quality Standards.
