We are looking for a CEC Accredited Electrician to join our fast growing team

About the role:

Melbourne Energy Group focuses on residential and commercial renewable energy.

We are looking for a full time A grade electrician to join our team

The role includes, yet is not limited to:

• Installation of solar PV systems for residential and commercial projects.
• Install, test and commission electrical devices, equipment, fixtures, and switchboards for solar and battery power systems.
• Upgrading pre-existing solar PV systems.
• Fault finding/diagnosis of solar PV system issues and problem-solving.
• Maintenance of solar PV systems and completing maintenance reports.
• Train and support electrical apprentices under your supervision.
• Complete all compliance paperwork required for solar/battery installation.
• Document and take all required site photos, installation testing and commissioning checklists.
• Ensure a high level of customer service.

About you:

You are a motivated and mature individual ready to continue your career as a full-time A-grade electrician in the Renewable Energy Sector, working alongside industry leaders to deliver quality renewable projects.

The successful applicant will require the following:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an A Grade Electrician, with a current A Grade Qualification
• Working at Heights License.
• White Card.
• Australian Driver's License.
• Working with Children's Check. (not essential)
• Thorough knowledge of electrical safety procedures, regulations and guidelines.
• CEC Accreditation qualification. (Preferred but not essential)
