JS Careers is pleased to be recruiting multiple Investment Analyst opportunities in Sydney with leading global and local private equity funds.

These roles present the chance to join established investment teams at top-tier firms, with start dates expected from late 2025 through early 2026. Each position offers significant exposure to the full investment lifecycle, with responsibilities spanning deal origination, execution, portfolio management, and value creation.

The mandates we are working on are particularly active across healthcare, consumer, business services, industrials, infrastructure, and technology, with strategies ranging from mid-market buyouts to special situations.

Role Responsibilities (common across opportunities):


• Supporting investment origination, commercial assessment, and market screening


• Building financial models, conducting valuation work, and delivering in-depth industry and company analysis


• Assisting with transaction execution and advisor management across multiple workstreams


• Preparing investment committee materials and presentation packs


• Working with portfolio company management on strategic and operational initiatives


• Supporting portfolio monitoring, value creation projects, and eventual exits.

Candidate Profile:


• 1.5-5 years of professional experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, or related buy-side roles


• Strong technical and analytical skills, with sound commercial judgement


• A proactive and collaborative approach, with a desire to work in a hands-on, deal-focused environment


• Excellent communication skills, with comfort engaging senior stakeholders.
