Role Overview

We're seeking a motivated Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will primarily operate and monitor embroidery machines, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in every order. You'll also receive full training to operate and support our digital knitting machines, giving you the chance to grow your skill set and play an important role in our textile production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, calibrate, and monitor embroidery machines
  • Ensure embroidery designs are executed with precision and high quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
  • Learn and assist in operating digital knitting machines (training provided)
  • Perform regular quality checks throughout production
  • Assist with machine maintenance and cleaning schedules
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily output targets
  • Maintain safe and organised work areas

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience in machine operation, ideally in textiles, embroidery, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machines
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • No prior knitting machine experience required (however preferred) – training provided
  • No prior embroidery machine experience required (however preferred) – training provided

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.55 – $42.88 per hour
