Our Partner - one of Australia's premier financial services organisations - is leading the world of AI in banking, transforming customer experiences through cutting-edge innovation. They're looking for an exceptional analytics leader to drive AI transformation across their Home Buying domain, leading a team of 40-50 people.

About the Role

You'll deliver robust Advanced Analytics capabilities that shape the future of customer engagement, business intelligence, and innovation at scale within Retail Banking Services. This is executive-level leadership where you'll co-create strategy with Crew Leads and senior executives, building intelligent, customer-first solutions that benefit all Australians.

As a technical leader (not hands-on coder), you'll guide teams through AI transition across AWS, Teradata, BI Tooling (Power BI/Tableau) and Advanced Analytics platforms (H2O/SageMaker).

The Critical Differentiator:

Credit risk analytics experience
combined with customer and product analytics. This is the skill set that's been hardest to find. If you've worked across all three domains in financial services, you're already ahead.

Your Impact:

Define and own the Advanced Analytics capability

Lead, manage and coach 40-50 analytics practitioners across multiple locations

Partner with Crew/COE leads to determine skillset and capability requirements

Uplift value and efficiency of analytics outputs across the customer Home Buying journey

Lead implementation of technologies, techniques and processes for Advanced Analytics

Influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to embed Advanced Analytics into

What You'll Bring:

Leadership and Vision:

Proven ability to lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams people)

Strong executive presence with ability to inspire and communicate technical vision clearly

Stakeholder management at EGM/GM level across diverse groups

Technical Excellence:

Demonstrated ability to technically guide high-performing teams of cross-skilled practitioners Understanding of Teradata, Python, Power BI, SQL, SageMaker, (proficiency not required, understanding is)

Grounded understanding of AWS Cloud architecture and integration

Experience with Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI transformation
