About The Role
Knowledge Information and Technology within the Corporate Services Division are responsible for the delivery of industry standard quality digital, information, data and litigation solutions and services across the Department of Justice.

The Principal Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for employing methods of best practice and excellence in project management frameworks to lead assessment, prioritisation, development and implementation of digital projects varying in size and complexity across the Department of Justice. The role will closely work with a broad range of stakeholders across the sector to lead the implementation and adoption of contemporary ICT Services to enable the Department to achieve strategic objectives.

The Principal Information Technology Project Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations such as change and stakeholder management, resourcing, scheduling, prioritisation and task management to ensure achievement of project milestones, objectives and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets, and acceptable level of risk. They will work in close collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders across the Department to ensure that services and solutions are delivered in alignment with customer expectations, the Departments broader ICT Strategic Framework and the WA Digital Strategy.

The successful applicant will assume a pivotal leadership role within the Digital Delivery Portfolio to ensure that desired objectives are delivered in alignment with business stakeholder expectations. The ability to work collaboratively and engage across the Department and with the Office of Digital Government to deliver effective change strategies and implement digital, data and information solutions and services will be crucial.
