About the role

Stuart Park Primary School is seeking passionate and dedicated Part Time OSHC Educators to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and engaging educational experiences for children in our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program. This is a part-time position based in Stuart Park, NT 0820.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and caring for children in the OSHC program, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and engagement in a variety of activities

  • Implementing a stimulating and age-appropriate program of activities, including games, sports, arts and crafts, and more

  • Fostering positive relationships with children, families, and the school community

  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Continuously improving the OSHC program through reflective practice and collaboration with the team

What we're looking for

  • Experience working in a childcare or OSHC setting, with a demonstrated understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Creativity and enthusiasm in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

  • A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children

  • A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a willingness to work towards one

  • A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
