OSHC Qualified Educators

Effective OSHC programs bring a wide range of benefits to children, families and communities. OSHC programs can boost academic performance, reduce risky behaviours, promote physical health and provide a safe, structured environments for the children of working parents. OSHC programs also support parents/carers to engage in training and/or employment.

The OSHC Educators will be responsible for establishing for providing care to school aged children, before school, after school and during holiday periods.

The OSHC Educators will support the OSHC Director in delivering a program that is engaging and guided by the policies and procedures of the service. OSHC Educators will uphold the values of the school and deliver a program to the high standards of the School Council.

Who are we looking for?

  • Someone with a passionate, warm and energetic nature and a genuine love for working with children

  • Knowledge of EYLF, MTOP, NQS, and all legislative requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Very good administrative and organisational skills.

  • Current and valid WWCC, First Aid, RHANN-EC

    Qualification related to childcare is mandatory please read the below list before applying:

  • Cert IV or Diploma in Children's Services (OSHC or ECEC),

  • Cert IV or Diploma of Out of School Hours Care,

  • Cert IV or Diploma in School Age Education and Care, Diploma or Degree in children's Studies or Education,

  • Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care,

  • Cert III or IV in School Based Education Support,
