About the role

Join the Jacob Group of Companies' team as a full-time Heavy Vehicle Diesel and Construction Technician in Shepparton, Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise and passion in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy diesel-powered construction vehicles and equipment
  2. Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety
  3. Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  4. Collaborating with the wider team to provide excellent customer service and support
  5. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed
  6. Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel and or Construction Technician
  2. Strong technical knowledge and expertise in the maintenance and repair of heavy diesel equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electronics
  3. Familiarity with the latest diagnostic tools and techniques
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  6. Commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations
  7. Qualifications in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or a related field
