Land Transport is a leading national Road Transport company who specialists in General Freight Transport. Operating for over 40 years, we are dedicated to putting our workers first, providing a safe work environment with job security.

In this busy and diverse role, we are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and reliable Driver in our Wagga Wagga Depot. You will be reporting to the Depot Manager and will be responsible for local deliveries in Wagga and surrounding areas. This role will also require you to assist in the yard/ Warehouse which includes loading, unloading and securing of general freight for our local, intrastate and interstate freight when required.

This role is predominately Monday to Friday work with some weekend work available.

To be successful in this role you will be energetic and goal oriented and possess the following skills:

  • A current forklift licence - or willingness to obtain
  • Hold a current HC Licence is essential

  • Experience with loading and unloading General Freight and Load Restraint essential

  • Previous experience working with Dangerous Goods is preferred

  • Team oriented with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high level of efficiency
