Heart of Australia is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Research Assistant to join and support our growing Clinical Trials team.

The role

As a Clinical Research Assistant, you will provide support for all our clinical trial activity in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Key duties will include but not be limited to:

• Provide administrative support to our clinical research teams across multiple trials
• Data collection ensuring the data is captured according to individual protocols
• Transfer data from source to electronic data collection system (EDC)
• Data cleaning ensuring the data is accurate
• Data entry and management ensuring the data files securely and accurately
• Data Analysis
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment including annual calibration
• Organise sample collection
• Stock control and ordering management
• Preparation of documents for each clinical trial in accordance with the data collection guidelines

About you

Ideally, experienced in clinical trials, you will have the following:

• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a growing team
• Knowledge of clinical research regulations will be advantageous
