Regis Chelmer has multiple opportunities for **Food Services Assistants** (FSAs) who are vital in providing efficient, high-quality catering support services within our Home. The FSA is dedicated and passionate about supporting our clinical and care teams in delivering nutritious meals and refreshments to residents while ensuring the highest food safety and hygiene standards. The FSA works with the clinical and care services team to create a positive dining experience for residents, promoting their health and wellbeing.

**Regis Chelmer** is a purpose-built aged care Home inside a faithfully restored 1890s mansion, topped with a magnificent rooftop lounge. Our Home has good connectivity to Brisbane CBD with the railway station within walking distance. It is also conveniently located with ease of access to shops, restaurants, a golf club, Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens and the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.

**What you will bring**
- Previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and accurately and to communicate effectively.
- Work as a team member, able to prioritise and adapt to various ways of supporting residents.
- Digital literacy.

**How you’ll support**
- Setting up each serving and dining area ready for each meal period in line with Regis standards.
- Setting up trolleys for tea breaks and supper.
- Washing dishes and cleaning according to the Food Safety Program.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of areas where food is prepared and served.
- Assist with meal preparation when required.
- Monitor and record requirements of the Food Safety Plan, such as temperatures, cleaning schedules, receipt of goods, etc.
