About the role

Newly opened Spanish Tapas Bar is seeking a passionate and experienced Bartender to join our vibrant team in Thornbury, VIC. This is a casual role, offering you the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service and maintaining a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock control
  • Following all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations
  • Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting your colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
  • Excellent knowledge of cocktail recipes, bar equipment, and drink preparation techniques
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a positive experience for all customers
  • Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
