We are passionate about providing top-notch products to our customers and fostering a vibrant community around sports and active lifestyles. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a talented and driven Marketing and Media Team Member to join our team and help elevate our brand presence.

Position Overview:

The Junior Marketing and Media Team Member will play role in promoting our brand and engaging with our audience through various media channels. You will have input in our marketing directions and strategy, and will be helping to craft our message. This role is ideal for a creative individual with strong skills in
social media marketing,
crafting compelling
press releases,
and conducting
media interviews
. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that align with our company's goals and values. While social media content creation is a part of this role it is not the only part, we expect you to be able to attend sporting events and represent our company, liaising with our clients, and helping to promote our brand and products

Whilst this role is remote, we mean it is remote from our office, you will be required to be close to or accessible to
Brisbane
, for any client or partner meetings in person when requested.

This role will require travel to some of the events that we sponsor or partake in (domestic and international). A manual driver's licence will be highly regarded but not essential for the role. This role may also include the occasional weekend hours.

You must be willing to undergo a QLD Working with children check, (or similar) as we will expect you to help develop knowledge and awareness of some of our partner programmes within schools, community and sporting organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Marketing:

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Create, schedule, and manage content, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics, to resonate with our target audience.
• Monitor social media trends and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and campaigns.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.

Brand Representation:

• Attend events as a representative of RowdRite as a sponsor
• Liase with customers, and potential customer
• Collaborate with partners and other marketing teams to promote a standard messaging for sponsored events

Press Releases:

• Write and distribute press releases to announce new products, company milestones, partnerships, and other significant events.
• Collaborate with local and industry-specific media outlets to secure coverage and enhance brand visibility.
• Maintain a media contact list and build relationships with journalists and influencers relevant to our industry.

Media Interviews:

• Coordinate and prepare company representatives for media interviews, ensuring they are equipped with key messages and talking points.
• Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage interview logistics.
• Track and report on media coverage, providing insights and recommendations for future media engagements.

Marketing Strategy:

• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive sales and customer loyalty.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the RowdRite design team for graphics, images and branding

Qualifications:

• Strong writing skills, with experience crafting press releases and other marketing materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
• Proven experience in social media marketing will be highly regarded but not mandatory.
• Experience coordinating and conducting media interviews or similar would be preferred
• A passion for sports and an understanding of the sporting industry is a plus.
