Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software, cloud or cybersecurity space.
- Experience identifying cybersecurity use cases to solve customer issues or selling cybersecurity technology to clients.
- Experience in Leadership within a quota-carrying team, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions or services.
- Experience working with channel partners in AUNZ and possessing an established network of contacts within the cybersecurity market.
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform and its cybersecurity offerings.
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and ecosystem, including players, trends, and technologies.
About the jobAs the Country Manager for Cybersecurity business for AUNZ, you will be responsible for leading and executing the go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud's cybersecurity solutions. This is a critical leadership role requiring an understanding of the AUNZ market, experience in building and scaling business organizations, and a passion for technology and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for all aspects of the cybersecurity business in AUNZ, including forecasting, team management and development, and building relationships with stakeholders, particularly the Cloud Sales teams in the market.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall cybersecurity business strategy for AUNZ, aligning with global and regional objectives.
- Recruit, Manage and develop a performing team of cybersecurity business professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including the Cloud Sales teams and Leaders in AUNZ, to ensure collaboration and maximize business.
- Drive business growth and market share capture for Google Cloud's cybersecurity solutions within the AUNZ market and accurately forecast business pipeline and business, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Identify and develop partnerships and alliances within the AUNZ cybersecurity ecosystem and represent Google Cloud Cybersecurity at industry events and conferences, contributing to thought leadership and market awareness.
