Job Description – Pick Packer Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pick Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to packing slips and instructions.
  • Check items for quality, damage, or defects before packing.
  • Prepare and label cartons, satchels, or pallets for dispatch.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Assist with stocktaking, inventory checks, and replenishment as required.
  • Report any issues, shortages, or discrepancies to the supervisor.

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or order fulfilment (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet daily targets.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good physical fitness – able to lift, carry, and move stock safely.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
