*Position Purpose*
Certis is seeking a proactive and reliable General Support Officer to provide asset protection and ensure a safe, incident-free environment for all stakeholders attending the site. This is a Level 4 full-time position ideal for individuals committed to safety, service, and operational excellence.

*Key Responsibilities*
- General Support Officers work in the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to perform administrative function, handle all public counter service inquiries, respond to SOC telephones and work with systems. Interact wth Security Officers via phones and two way radio directing tasks and jobs to Officers on foot, vehicle and bike patrols of Campus properties.
- Records, directs and assists security activities to deliver a quality security service.
- GSO's work with all SOC software. GSO's undertake data entry for jobs/taskings, incident reporting, generate various reports from perspective database, security correspondence, parking matters, etc.
- Note: If not licensed wor with Access Control & CCTV is limited.
- Responds to emergencies in accordance with guidelines and manuals for the SOC.
- Interact with Access Control & CCTV systems in performance of duties.
- Provide advice and assistance to community for security issues - Safe escorts, etc.
- Observe principles and ractices of Equal Employment Opportunity.
*Qualification
Essential*
- Administrative skils
- Keyboard skills
- Minimum two years experience in administrative roles/security.
- Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Exceptional customer service focus with conflict resolution experience
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- Knowledge of WHS and emergency response procedures
- Strong report writing and administrative skills
- Physically fit, adaptable, and a quick learner
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
Desirable
- Class 1 AC Security License NSW
- Knowledge of Access Control and CCTV Security systems similar to Gallagher.
