Electrical Certification Engineer - Residential & Industrial Products

ScrumCraft is hiring an Electrical Certification Engineer to support the compliance and certification of a globally recognised range of residential and industrial electrical products.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in regulatory detail and is confident navigating complex standards, lab environments, and external certification processes. You'll work closely with product development, industrial design, and industrialisation teams to ensure products meet regional and international compliance requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage compliance documentation, including test reports and technical files
  • Coordinate and conduct testing in internal and external labs to verify compliance
  • Collaborate with external certification bodies and laboratories, ensuring timely approvals
  • Interpret and apply relevant safety, EMC, environmental, and IP rating standards
  • Work closely with design engineers, industrial designers, and industrialisation teams to align certification with product delivery
  • Contribute to Agile product delivery cycles, helping streamline certification within iterative development processes

What You Bring

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven lab experience in compliance testing environments
  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and standards, including EESS and RECS
  • Hands-on experience with AS/NZS, IEC, UL, CE certification standards
  • Track record collaborating with external labs and certification agencies
  • Industry background in companies delivering residential electrical products
  • Strong skills in documentation, technical communication, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Desirable: Experience contributing to Agile product delivery environments
