Join Eldercare as a Physiotherapist
Location: Cottage Grove (Woodcroft) – 0.2 FTE (Day Flexible), Acacia Court (Hendon) - 0.4FTE (Wed+Thurs)
Type: Part time
At Eldercare, our purpose is simple but powerful: to deliver peace of mind with our care.
At Eldercare, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to older South Australians. As one of the state's leading not-for-profit aged care providers, we foster a compassionate and inclusive work environment where every team member is valued.
By joining Eldercare, you'll become part of a team that prioritises integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. With a strong focus on learning and development, we'll support you as you grow your career.
About The Role
At Eldercare, we know that older people in our care want to remain as healthy and independent as possible. With a gym at each of our facilities, and a thriving reablement program, our Physiotherapists tackle frailty through intensive 1:1 reablement programs and ongoing group-based exercise.
As a Physiotherapist at Eldercare, you will work in a large, multidisciplinary environment alongside Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitians, Social Workers and Dementia Specialists. You will offer supervision and direction to Mobility Assistants, to promote mobility and exercise for all of our residents in the pursuit of individual goals.
Our Physiotherapists utilise their full range of clinical assessment and treatment skills and enjoy having the time to support residents to achieve their potential. Our team culture embraces innovation by adopting evidence-based and emerging practices into our service model.
Professional support is offered by our two regional Allied Health Team Leaders, and ongoing professional growth is enabled through bi-monthly meetings and the opportunity to develop and implement new practices.
What You Will Bring
- Have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, with current AHPRA registration (limited registration therapists will also be considered)
- Have a passion for healthy ageing and empowerment
- Be committed to ongoing learning and development of your skills
- Demonstrate behaviours underpinning Eldercare's values of respect, accountability and connection.
Why Choose Eldercare?
- Be part of a purpose-driven organisation that values compassion and community
- Salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Work in modern facilities with on-site parking
- Join a team that feels more like family
Ready to Join Us?
If you are looking to join our team, we will provide you with a supportive working environment that will care for you as an individual, and as a therapist. We will reward your commitment to our residents and Eldercare's values with opportunities for career growth, and collaboration in the development of our service.
