About the role

Woodleigh Waters Dental, a leading dental practice in Berwick is looking for a skilled Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly team on a casual basis. This position will involve supporting our dentists and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting dentists during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and passing instruments as needed
  • Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling reception duties
  • Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as required
  • Ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming dental practice environment
  • Providing compassionate, professional, and efficient customer service to all patients

What we're looking for

  • Prior experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Receptionist in a dental practice setting
  • Certificate III or higher in Dental Assisting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to put patients at ease
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems
  • A caring, patient-focused approach and a genuine interest in dental healthcare
  • Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays
  • Looking for long term commitment
  • Salary is negotiable based on experience
