Little Saplings is a brand new, purpose-built early learning centre in Armidale, grounded in warm, responsive relationships and strong child safe practice. Our bespoke Living Learning Tree curriculum places wellbeing, curiosity and connection at the heart of children's learning and development.

We are seeking a passionate and capable Early Childhood Teacher to join our foundational team and help shape the culture, curriculum and practice of Little Saplings from the very beginning.

This role is ideal for an ECT who values quality, professionalism and reflective practice, and who wants to play a meaningful role in building something special.

About the role
  • Lead and embed high-quality curriculum and practice aligned with the EYLF
  • Plan, observe and document children's learning with intention and depth
  • Build strong, respectful partnerships with families
  • Contribute to a calm, professional and collaborative team culture
  • Work closely with the Educational Leader and Centre Director
  • Actively support quality improvement, compliance and reflective practice
About you
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
  • NESA accreditation and current NSW Working With Children Check
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standard
  • Confident communicator with a warm, professional presence
  • Values child safe practice and ethical leadership
  • Motivated to contribute beyond the classroom and influence centre-wide practice
