What is our Senior Occupational Therapist role?
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the role plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Occupational Therapy services to patients in the Acute Care and Hospital Extended Care streams of Graylands Hospital using advanced Occupational Therapy clinical practice skills. The position plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care; supervises Occupational Therapy staff and support staff in the clinical area, coordinates duties and manages performance; practices as a Senior Occupational Therapist and ensures practice is in accordance to the Occupational Therapy professional and registration requirements, standards, codes and guidelines; and also ensures practice aligns with the NMHS vision, mission, values, strategic priorities, policies and guidelines.

Eligibility to Apply:
To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
