Norco are currently seeking an experienced Production Operators to join the team at our busy milk processing factory in Labrador on the Gold Coast. Employment will be on a full-time basis, including day, afternoon, night and weekend shift work. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operator experience and will be motivated and committed to a career in food manufacturing. We also have great career opportunities for the right candidate into leadership and more specialised parts of our operations.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Sound understanding of work place health and safety and the ability to work in a safe manner
  • Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment highly desirable
  • Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and advanced problem solving skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to work shift work and rotating rosters
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to accurately complete paperwork with good attention to detail
  • Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills and computer skills
  • Understanding and commitment to continuous improvement activities
  • Display behaviours that are consistent with Norco Co-operative's values of Authenticity, Agility, Diversity and Connection.
  • Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test
