The Role

VDG Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaner based in Scone, NSW. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our client's commercial site, ensuring a welcoming, hygienic, and professional environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, and emptying bins

• Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms and kitchenettes

• Replace bin liners, restock supplies, and maintain hygiene standards in amenities and break areas

• Safely use, maintain, and store cleaning equipment and materials

• Use VDG-approved chemicals in line with training and safe work procedures, ensuring correct storage at all times

• Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues on site

• Utilise VDG's digital workforce management technology to complete checklists, schedules, and reporting

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial cleaning

• Confident using a smartphone to follow schedules, complete digital checklists, and log tasks in workforce apps

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safe handling, and colour-coding systems

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently

• Professional attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service

• Effective time management and organisational skills

• Training or experience in the safe use and distribution of chemicals

• Reliable, trustworthy, and honest
