About the role

Connect Cleaning Group is looking for a reliable and experienced Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Rutherford, NSW 2320. This is a casual/part time role, but can grow into increased hours offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with an industry-leading cleaning services provider.

We are looking to fill two roles.

Position 1 - Part Time

Start times are 6.30am Monday to Friday with finishing times varied but approx. 25 to 30 hours per week. Additional hours at other sites would be available also if wanted.

Position 2 - Full Time (3 mth contract)

Start times are 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday. This is a Full Time position for initially 3 months but could be a permanent role following the initial 3 months.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform general cleaning duties in commercial and office spaces, as well as specialist areas of a medical facility including vacuuming, dusting, sanitising bathrooms, use of cleaning equipment and emptying bins
  • Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards, meeting our strict quality control requirements
  • Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues to the team
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with clients
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a commercial cleaner, preferably in an office or similar setting
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and stamina to complete cleaning duties
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
