About the role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Malvern Road Family Medical Centre in Glen Iris, VIC. This part-time role is crucial in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

  • Scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

  • Handling incoming phone calls, emails and inquiries.

  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and inventory management
  • Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a medical reception or customer service role preferred but not essential as training to be provided
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • A friendly, professional and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Availability to work part-time hours, no weekends.
