About the Role

Based at our Brisbane Head Office, you'll join our in-house IT Department as a key member of the Business Applications and Data Team, reporting directly to the Business Applications and Data Manager. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the foundation of a growing data team and play a pivotal role in a major strategic project.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL
  • Support, enhance, and ensure the quality of BSR Group's data systems and integrations
  • Collaborate with the IT team, leadership team and external partners to deliver data-driven solutions
  • Recommend and implement efficiencies in data processes and participate in change management
  • Provide technical advice, facilitate testing, and deliver ad-hoc data analysis to answer key business questions
  • Manage and assure the quality of master data and support the data warehouse in evolving reporting requirements
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards, empowering the business to make decisions

What You'll Bring

  • At least 2 years' experience as a data analyst or in a related field
  • Strong skills in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (including data model design and report creation)
  • Experience with Azure data environments, and data platform administration
  • Familiarity with D365, PowerApps, Snowflake, and database management systems
  • A collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
  • A passion for handling large data sets and delivering actionable insights
