At Express, we're proud to be a trusted importer and seller of innovative portable buildings across Australia. Our range includes expandable homes, accommodation units, office pods, bathrooms, site offices, lunchrooms, and an exciting selection of new products launching including saunas, ice baths and log cabins.

Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:

• 3D modelling of new portable building products as they're brought to market
• Updating and customising our existing Archicad design library
• Collaborating daily with our Chinese manufacturing partners (in English) to place orders and assist with product development
• Producing accurate and up-to-date elevations, sections, structural details, and 3D footing layouts for internal and client use
• Supporting the ongoing improvement of our online 3d renders and content
• Creating comprehensive installation guides, including clear drafted diagrams and animations
• Liaising with clients and managing communication around custom design requirements
• Contributing to design documentation and internal system improvements

As part of our small but nimble, high-performing team, you'll gain exposure to all areas of the business and have the chance to grow and shape your role over time. We're looking for someone who's confident, self-driven, and eager to help us evolve our systems and processes as we scale.

What We're Looking For:

• Advanced Archicad proficiency (essential)
• Lumion experience (highly desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and technical drawing accuracy
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially for email coordination with overseas suppliers
• Basic understanding of construction or structural drafting preferred
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a small team
• A passion for overseas modular, innovation, and systems improvement

This role is quite different from a typical residential Archicad position. We're not designing bespoke houses or architectural showpieces, so it's unlikely to suit a draftsperson whose long-term goal is to become an architect. Instead, this opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of design, can produce outstanding 3D renders, and thrives on working with overseas factories to drive production. It's about modular innovation, system improvements, and seeing products come to life at scale.

Salary Package & Benefits:

• $100,000 per year + 11.5% superannuation
• 4 weeks annual leave
• 10 days personal leave
• Paid public holidays
• Flexible start and finish times (Monday to Friday)
• Full-time role based at our Molendinar office on the Gold Coast
