Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches and light meals, maintaining food quality standards, and assisting with daily café operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other light meals according to menu and customer requests.

  • Ensure food is presented neatly, consistently, and to a high standard.

  • Assist with food preparation, such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, food preparation areas, and service counters.

  • Restock ingredients and supplies as required.

  • Follow food safety and handling procedures.

  • Assist with customer service, including taking orders and serving food when needed.

  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food preparation, hospitality, or kitchen work preferred but not essential (training provided).

  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 25 per week
