The Role

This is a well-rounded opportunity with exposure to both advisory and contentious matters across Queensland and New South Wales. You'll work closely with experienced succession lawyers on:

  • Complex estate planning – including wills, EPAs, AHDs, and testamentary trusts
  • Asset protection strategies for clients facing risks like family breakdown or bankruptcy
  • Estate administration – from probate applications to ongoing executor advice
  • Estate litigation – including family provision applications and will challenges
  • Tribunal work – involving capacity, guardianship, and substitute decision-making

This role suits a lawyer ready to step up, own their matters, and enjoy the guidance of nationally recognised senior practitioners.

About You

You'll ideally bring:

  • 4+ years' post-admission experience in Wills & Estates
  • Proven experience in estate planning and/or estate litigation
  • Excellent attention to detail, clear communication skills, and empathy for your clients
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring or being mentored
