Weighbridge Cashier/Administrator

Your New Role
Are you customer service-focused with strong attention to detail? Join our team as a Weighbridge Operator and play a key role in supporting our operations at the Canberra yard

You will be responsible for the operation of the weighbridge office. Liaising with customers & truck drivers, bulk shipping activities, answering calls & record keeping and creating transfers for intercompany transactions.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Timely and professional customer service
• Accurate record keeping in line with company requirements
• Maintaining an organised office, including organisation of files and records
• Providing administrative support to the Yard Manager
• Demonstrate a high focus on safety
• Yard duties as required

To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have

• Proven customer service skills
• Excellent communication & numeracy skills
• Strong computer skills, specifically data entry, speed and accuracy
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work as part of a small team
• Friendly telephone manner
• An organised approach, you will manage your time effectively
• Previous experience operating a weighbridge will be highly advantageous but is not essential
