About this role:

As the Senior Finance Manager, you will organize the accounting operation and finance activities of a newly acquired business. This role will partner with the acquisition finance team and business, drive competitive and sustainable business growth through independent, objective and value-creating financial analytics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Integrate the acquisition to comply with JCI accounting policies and procedures, including day-to-day finance processes, revenue recognition on project and services accounting, establishing the new financial delegation of authorities, segregation of duties, and reconciliations.
  • Responsible for annual Plan and rolling forecast. Oversees the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and ensures delivery of accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Establish and oversee processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information. Ensure high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
  • Partner with business to provide in-depth, accurate and timely analysis to support the decision making. Identify issues and advise management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve. Drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency. Manage and closely monitor the cash flow and takes action to improve Net Working Capital.
  • Assess business risk exposure and defines risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance. Ensure risk management processes are consistently implemented in own area of responsibility. Identify and communicate commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions.
  • Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Define and implement internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Ensure compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Develop the finance integration plan with the business and other JCI functions.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelors degree or above in Finance and / or Accounting.
  • Recognized professional accountancy qualification (CA, CPA) is required.
  • 8+ years experience in finance, accounting and auditing related areas with a focus on business analytics and solid accounting / financial experience.
  • 5+ years of solid team management experience.
  • Strong strategical-thinking skill, decisive and logical.
  • Advanced Excel and data management skills are required.
  • Knowledge of the Pronto ERP is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of OneStream (similar Hyperion/HFM) is highly desirable.
  • Project management skill is desirable
