Re.Group is excited to be taking on the operations of the Canning Vale Recycling Facility, one of the most significant recycling and resource recovery hubs in Western Australia. The site incorporates a Material Recovery Facility (MRF), FOGO (Food Organics and Garden Organics), and Green Waste operations, and we are seeking Expressions of Interest for the key leadership role of Plant Manager.

About the role

  • Implement Re.Group's health, safety, environmental, and compliance standards, ensuring policies are applied across all operations.
  • Lead and develop the site team, ensuring clear roles, effective performance management, and ongoing skill development.
  • Ensure site compliance with legislative and contractual obligations, including audit readiness and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver the annual site plan with clear, measurable KPIs to support business strategy.
  • Drive operational efficiency and optimisation through established frameworks such as LEAN and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets and cost performance to achieve financial and service outcomes.
  • Maintain the plant capacity model and use it to set and monitor performance and efficiency targets.
  • Work with engineering and maintenance teams to deliver plant improvements, reliability, and process investments.

About you

  • Strong operational management experience with a proven track record in HSEQ performance delivery.
  • Background in industrial manufacturing, recycling, or waste processing environments.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining LEAN, 5S, or continuous improvement systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to maintenance and optimisation.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, balancing people leadership with effective management of performance and culture.
  • Financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L accountability.
