Role Description

This is a contract-based role for a Community Physiotherapist, located in Melbourne, VIC who is willing to travel throughout different suburbs and areas of Melbourne. The role involves providing community-based physiotherapy services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, goal setting, and implementing tailored rehabilitation programs. The role requires you to maintain effective communication with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to the development of best practices within the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, their families and our team

Interest and

  • background in musculoskeletal, neurological, and aged care physiotherapy
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and goal setting
  • Ability to work independently in both community settings and from a remote environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to accuracy in documentation
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Experience in community physiotherapy or related areas is an advantage
