Head of Sales

Australian Tartaric Products is part of a privately-owned multinational group with its headquarters in Italy. The company processes winery production residues to manufacture and supply the finest quality natural Tartaric Acid, natural Cream of Tartar and food grade Spirit (ethanol) to the Australian wine industry and export customers and Australian grapeseed oil to the retail sector. This role is based in Mildura CDB however the primary production facility and company headquarters is at Colignan Victoria which includes a state of the art distillery and a green energy biomass boiler. First established in 1990 they have built a reputation for delivering high quality products which has driven significant growth in recent years.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join in the role of Sales & Marketing Manager and oversee the next phase of growth. The successful applicant will be accountable for developing sales strategies and executing marketing plans to drive growth.

The key responsibilities include:

• Promoting the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market both domestically and overseas.

• Analyzing budgets, preparing annual marketing plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their targets.

• Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements.

• Building and maintaining relationships with Clients and industry participants to drive sales volumes.

• Preparing and presenting weekly sales and marketing reports to Senior Management.

• Responsibility for raw material management including contracting waste product from wineries,

• Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks

Our successful candidate will possess the following skill and experience:

• Experience in s similar Sales and Marketing leadership role.

• Capability to manage price negotiations with clients.

• Leadership capability with ability to deliver results through the team.

• Commercial acumen with sound judgment skills to make effective decisions.

• Ability to manage multiple and competing demands.

• Ability to preempt, identify, analyze and resolve problems.

• It would be highly regarded for the candidate to have Wine industry experience.
