Carney Cattle Company is on the lookout for a reliable, motivated Farm Hand to support our day-to-day operations across livestock management, property maintenance, and general farm work. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, getting their hands dirty, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing things right.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist with daily livestock care – feeding, watering, and health checks
• Help maintain fences, troughs, paddocks, sheds and irrigation
• Support pasture management and feed runs
• Operate and maintain basic farm equipment (under supervision)
• Follow directions from the owner and work to daily plans
• Keep accurate time records via the Workforce app
• Work safely and responsibly in a team setting

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working on a cattle or mixed farming property (preferred)
• Horseman / Horsewoman – skilled with horses.
• Comfortable handling livestock and using farm tools or machinery
• Physically fit, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to take direction and work both independently and in a team
• Basic understanding of farm safety and willingness to learn

You'll Need:

• A current Driver's Licence (essential)
• Machinery or tractor experience (desirable)
• First Aid Certificate (desirable but not essential)

What to Expect:

• Outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions
• 10 designated farm days per month (full-time equivalent)
• Each day starts on-site unless part of a feed run
• Overtime only by prior approval
