In Aboriginal Home Health we've been caring for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders and community in NSW for more than 30 years. This role will be servicing the community of Wollongong and surrounding areas including - Scarborough, Wombarra, Austinmer, Coledale, Clifton, Thirroul, Corrimal, Bulli, Woonona, Wollongong, Russell Vale, Bellambi, Balgownie, Fairy Meadow, Kieraville, Gwynneville, Mangerton, Fig Tree, Mount Keira, Mount St Thomasm Mount Kembla, Cordeaux Heights, Farmborough Heights, Unanderra, Berkeley, Warrawong, Lake Heights, Port Kembla.

Who we are looking for:

  • A compassionate, empathetic, respectful Carer
  • Has a reliable car and Australian Driver Licence
  • Both experienced and non-experienced Care Workers are encouraged to apply

What you will be doing:

  • Domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation
  • Social support such as accompanying our clients to their doctor appointment/s, shopping & social outings (experience dependant)
  • Perform Personal Care duties including showering, feeding and toileting; assist in oral medication (experience dependant)
