Why Congress?
For over 50 years, Congress has provided support and advocacy for Aboriginal people. Since that time, Congress has expanded to become the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory, providing a comprehensive, holistic and culturally appropriate primary healthcare service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including five remote communities: Amoonguna, Ntaria (and Wallace Rockhole), Santa Teresa, Utju (Areyonga), Imanpa, Yulara and Mutitjulu.

As a Remote Area Nurse you will assess patient needs, administer treatments such as wound care, and promote health initiatives. Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe practices and contribute to quality improvement efforts. - Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a primary care or similar setting
- Commitment to integrating Aboriginal values in practice
- Willingness for, and understanding of, remote area work; and
