St Laurence's College is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition which has over 2,000 boys enrolled from Year 5 to Year 12.

Applications are invited for a permanent, full-time Finance Manager to join our Finance Team, commencing as soon as possible (or in line with notice requirements).

The Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining and accurately processing all financial accounting and reporting across the areas of payroll, student fees and charges, collection of debtors, accounts payable, general ledger processing, reconciliation and reporting, international students, fixed assets register, tours and events, compliance, and other responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Hold a degree level qualification, CPA/CA membership or equivalent work experience relevant to the position
  • Possess (and maintain) a current Blue Card; or be eligible to apply for a Blue Card
  • Knowledge of the education sector will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience using finance systems (eg TASS, etc)
  • Demonstrated strong computer skills in all Microsoft applications and database experience in updating and retrieving data for reports (with excellent accuracy).
  • Demonstrated strong time management and organisation skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines; and be able to respond rapidly to change
  • Experience in leading and being part of a team.
