We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Senior Hybrid Network Engineer, reporting to the Senior Manager Network and Systems Interlock.
A bit about your role
The Senior Hybrid Network Engineer leads cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes for nbn, providing architectural direction for network automation and process improvement.
This role involves mentoring engineers in automation frameworks and SDN, collaborating across engineering, integration, and SEO teams to manage complex network operations.
Key responsibilities include designing hybrid cloud networks, implementing security protocols, driving automation projects, and communicating technical concepts to executive leadership. Success is measured by network uptime, software quality, project delivery, team productivity, and innovation.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in the IT/Telecommunications industry, particularly in core network integration and complex data environments.
They must demonstrate deep knowledge of network technologies, OSS systems, and project management, along with strong technical and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key competencies include hands-on configuration, data process management, disaster recovery planning, and wholesale network architecture.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is a proactive, self-motivated approach to planning and delivering innovative solutions.
