About the role

An opportunity exists for an Electrician to join our team, based in Bundamba.

Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for working in a small electrical department, building control boxes, wiring up production-built units, and wiring up custom builds when required.

Additional duties may include fault finding and site visits when required.

The role will also include, but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to

  • Ability to read drawings and build control panels accordingly
  • Experience with control wiring and wiring to Australian Standards
  • Provide support to the production team in various manufacturing tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical and mechanical issues
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to your work
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
  • Challenge yourself with fault-finding and diagnostics

About you

You must have

  • Trade Qualifications and current Electrical Licence.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans, diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to draw circuit diagrams if required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and component overhaul processes and practices desirable.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
