Disability Support Worker

We are seeking Casual Support Workers to support our Supported Independent Living programs in the Hills District. We have casual positions with consistent hours & routine rosters, however; to supplement consistent shifts, staff ideally should be available to pick up backfill shifts.

Your day may include:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Support clients in community engagement and social activities both in the community or within one of our sites
• Implement individualised plans and document client progress.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and team members.
• Promote client independence through skill development and empowerment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

What we are looking for:

• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends
• Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant)
• Australian LR Driver's License
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR certification
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
