About the Role:

We're on the lookout for a full-time Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane-based team. Reporting to an experienced engineering lead, you'll play a key role in the design of supporting structures for non-structural services, including seismic restraints, prefabricated frames, and systems designed to withstand fatigue and blast loading. It's a role where structural smarts meet mechanical know-how—and where your work will have real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare compelling proposals and pitch innovative ideas for new work

• Lead projects from concept to completion—owning scope, budget, invoicing, timelines, and delivery

• Design smart, buildable solutions tailored to each client's unique needs

• Develop clear, accurate documentation, from detailed designs and specifications to final reports

• Travel for site inspections across Australia (and occasionally overseas)

• Guide and educate clients, turning complex engineering into clear, practical insights

• Promote technical excellence and support innovation by refining our core processes

• Apply your deep understanding of engineering principles to deliver clever, economical solutions

Skills and Experience:

What you'll bring

• Degree-qualified in Structural Engineering

• Proven mid-level experience in a similar structural engineering role

• Familiarity with SpaceGass or other structural analysis software

• Skilled in 3D modelling and FEA analysis

• Practical experience with structural inspections and certifications

• Strong grasp of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations

• A knack for creating clever, value-driven designs—balancing performance, cost, and buildability

• Organised and dependable—you know how to manage time across multiple projects

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Comfortable with the MS Office Suite

• A true team player who brings energy, ideas, and support to every collaboration

• Willingness to travel internationally when needed

Bonus points for

• Confident using Bluebeam Revu to mark up drawings and collaborate efficiently

• Experience with Autodesk Revit or other 3D design tools

• Basic Python scripting for automation or analysis
