About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Team Leader Graffiti Removal to join our Civil Asset Maintenance section on a permanent, full-time basis.
In this position, you will lead a team responsible for the timely identification and effective removal of graffiti across Blacktown, using high-pressure cleaning equipment, paint, and chemical solutions.
Key duties include managing documentation and reporting, conducting audits, ensuring the safe operation and upkeep of equipment, and overseeing the use of materials and supplies.
This role also involves collaboration with external stakeholders such as Probation and Parole, Juvenile Justice, and volunteer groups, as well as contributing to broader City Image initiatives.
Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Certificate III in relevant trade qualification
- Sound knowledge and experience in graffiti removal techniques using high pressure cleaners, paint and chemical removers
- Current MR drivers licence
- Experience supervising and leading a team
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,408.84 per week
- 38-hour working week
- Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
