Bannisters Port Stephens have an exciting new opportunity for a casual Spa Therapistto join the team at our iconic oceanfront hotel, within the serene Spa Bannisters. As a member of our Salter Brothers Hospitality team, you'll play a key role in creating meaningful experiences for both our guests and colleagues- through thoughtful service, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement

About Bannisters Port Stephens

Located on Soldiers Point peninsula, the latest addition to the Bannisters brand includes the beautiful Spa Bannisters. Our spa is a private oasis within our hotel, with a seasonal menu focused on local and organic Australian products, providing bespoke services to our guests including facials, massage, wraps, manis & pedis, and pregnancy safe treatments for mums-to-be.

The role and key duties

• Curate an unforgettable and bespoke experience for our guests from start to finish;
• Deliver onsite a range of treatments including body treatments, facials, massages & hair treatments to our guests in our well-appointed luxury treatment rooms;
• Provide a high level of personalised guest service & offer a relaxing experience;
• Provide recommendations and upsell retail products to guests;
• Keep the spa operations running smoothly & clean all areas of the spa after use.

Essential Criteria required to be considered

• Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or higher (essential);
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in spa and massage (preferred);
• Strong knowledge of wellbeing, skin and wellness products with ability to guide and educate our guests;
• Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays;
• Reliable transport to get to and from the retreat;
• Be located close to our retreat or be willing to relocate.
