A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage three experienced Senior Data Analysts to support a major data transformation and reporting program. The successful Senior Data Analysts will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Data Analysts will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Developing dashboards and reports to inform operational and strategic decisions
  • Extracting and analysing complex data sets to identify trends and improve performance
  • Advising stakeholders on how data can support business improvements
  • Communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior analysts

The successful Senior Data Analysts will have experience in the following:

  • Strong hands-on skills in tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, or R
  • Experience building visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with working in large data warehouse environments
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities within structured project settings
